Closing a strong first season on our Morocco–Europe service

30 March 2026

As the fruit season comes to an end, Samskip is bringing its Morocco–Europe service to a close for this season, marking the completion of its first full year of operations in this trade.

From the beginning, the focus was clear: to build a reliable service, establish strong local operations, and create a connection customers could trust. Over the course of the season, that ambition has taken shape.

While the service began with a natural learning curve, the strength of collaboration across teams and regions enabled rapid improvements. As the season progressed, our service developed into a stable and dependable connection between Morocco and Europe.

This progress is reflected in growing customer confidence. A steadily increasing number of customers chose Samskip for their shipments, with many returning and building their planning around the reliability of the service.

A wide range of products has been transported throughout the season, including citrus, berries, and other fresh produce. Supported by strong cold chain expertise, shipments have moved with consistency and care from origin to destination.

The Samskip Morocco service has also established a solid operational foundation in the region, supported by dedicated local teams and a growing network.

Looking ahead, Samskip intends to return for the next season, building on the experience gained and the foundation created.

For now, the first season closes with confidence. A reliable service has been established, customer trust has been built, and a strong basis is in place for future growth.
