Today, our network spans more than 30 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Australia, supported by around 1,500 passionate professionals worldwide.

Our History

Samskip is a prominent European transport company with a rich history spanning several decades. Founded in 1990, Samskip originated from the merger of two Icelandic shipping companies. Over the years, Samskip continued to expand its operations both organically and through strategic acquisitions.

Our Rotterdam office is also certified by the ISO 22000 standard, which sets out the requirements for our Foods Safety Management System.
