Before a ship is ever built, its design has to be first approved. Model testing is where ideas take shape and performance is put to the test. In this phase, engineers create a scaled version of the vessel. This is placed carefully in controlled conditions to see how it behaves at sea.

For the SeaShuttle, these tests focused on key elements like resistance, propulsion, and manoeuvrability. All of these are crucial for ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The results were a success, confirming that the vessel’s design is stable and ready for real-world performance.

Testing early in the process and learning from our mistakes is crucial. In this way we make sure that when the full-scale SeaShuttle sets sail, it does so with precision and reliability.
