After decades of pioneering our company was divided into many different business units and departments which each had their own way of working and management structures that were not always fully aligned. This caused some grey areas which our people always bridged with best intentions and extra effort. These grey areas were causing misalignments and preventing us to drive simplification and uniformity throughout Samskip.
As first priority in our Transformation journey towards a uniform, digital and dynamic logistics service provider we have redefined our Operating Model with a simple structure and clear responsibilities for all departments. This new Operating Model forms the basis for all improvement initiatives focused on harmonization and improving our reliability.
