Storm Dudley and Eunice

Added on 15 February 2022

Following our earlier communication on the possibility of the upcoming sailing schedule disruptions caused by storms Dudley and Eunice, we have decided to interrupt our UK services until further notice.

Due to the expected extreme weather situations, we will either reroute our vessels or put them temporarily on hold to safely pass through the extreme weather once the strong winds have set. To avoid terminals from collapsing under loaded containers and with empty containers stuck in the UK we will refrain from taking further bookings until further notice and postpone orders already booked for this week.

Once the weather has passed we will gradually revert back to our initial schedule and will keep you posted once fully operational and back to the initial schedule.

Two storms are set to batter parts of The UK, Ireland, and Europe. The combination of timing expected severity, and endurance is sufficient to advise you that severe disruptions in our services are expected. At the moment it is expected that starting this Wednesday 16th to and including Friday 18th of February, the UK, Ireland, and western Europe will be hit by storm Dudley followed by storm Eunice.

Local warnings are already in place in parts of Ireland and Scotland as very strong winds are expected. Weather experts indicate winds between 80 and 100 mph, which translates into an average of 120kmph. As there is still some uncertainty in the timing and location of the strongest winds, we would like to assure you that we will continue working towards diminishing the impact as much as is possible and will keep you updated about any further developments of the forecast.
