EDIFACT
EDIFACT is our preferred standard for EDI integration. To help you get started and assist your integration, simplified Message Implementation Guides and sample files have been created for our main messages.
Booking Creation (IFTMIN)
IFTMIN (Transport Instruction) is a message from the party issuing an instruction regarding forwarding/transport services for a consignment under conditions agreed, to the party arranging the forwarding and/or transport services.
Booking Confirmation (IFTMBC)
IFTMBC (Booking Confirmation) is a message from the party providing forwarding and/or transport services to the party booking those services, giving the confirmation information to the booking of the consignment concerned.
Status Messages (IFTSTA)
IFTSTA (Status Message) is used to report the status of transport or a change in the status of transport between business partners. It enables transfer of information for the status of the physical movement of consignments, goods or equipment at any point within the full transport chain.
XML
EDIFACT is our preferred standard for EDI integration, but at Samskip we also support other formats, such as XML. For your understanding of our requirements and to aid your developments we publish MIGs and sample files from our internal XML booking structure.
Samskip setBooking (XML)
The setBooking is a message used as Samskip’s internal counterpart of an IFTMIN message. The setup of this message can be referenced in case integration via XML is preferred.
Feedback Messages (XML)
The Feedback Message is used as Samskip’s internal counterpart of an IFTMBC and IFTSTA message. The setup of this message can be referenced in case integration via XML is preferred.
