Connecting Greece and Turkey
By combining rail services with short sea and road solutions, Samskip Multimodal Container Logistics provides an answer to the increasing market demand in the Mediterranean. Two services have been set up to enlarge and broaden the Samskip network.
The Mediterranean service (Med Service) connects Greece and Turkey with the Northern and Western European markets thereby facilitating our customer's trade and transport needs.
Turkey Services
The Turkey service offers two connections; the first is a direct link between Rotterdam and Halkali rail station in Istanbul, the second is a direct shortsea link between Rotterdam and Istanbul.
This opens up the Turkish market and connects it to the existing network, providing a good opportunity for our customers to broaden their market or shift production to Turkey.
