Sea
Samskip currently operates frequent services between the European continent and various destinations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, the Baltic states and Russia.
Barge
Samskip’s regular barge services run to and from a dedicated terminal in the Port of Rotterdam. Samskip uses modern barge terminals along Europe’s inland waterway network, connecting the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the Central European hinterland.
Rail
Rail freight is an efficient and increasingly popular mode of transport. Samskip runs daily and dedicated rail shuttles to destinations in Spain, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Poland, Italy, Greece and other European countries.
Road
Samskip’s European haulage operation is one of Europe’s largest. Collections and deliveries are planned with automatic planning systems and managed by experienced planners. Tracking and tracing capabilities are provided to the customer while all drivers are in constant contact with base operations.
Door-to-door as well as quay-to-quay services
Samskip is committed to the concept of multimodal and environmentally friendly transport solutions. Our door-to-door service integrates collection, shipment and delivery into a seamless transport solution.
