Transporting to Iceland

If personal effects are being transported to Iceland, they must be received by Samskip 3 days before the vessel departs. Samskip picks-up FCL personal effects anywhere in Europe and brings them to the port for an additional charge. Transportation must be booked 7 days prior to vessel departure if Samskip has been requested to pick up the personal effects.

When personal effects have arrived in Iceland, the customer must apply for customs clearance from customs and submit it to Samskip’s office before the articles are delivered to receiver.
