Energy surcharges Iceland

Energy surcharges Iceland

In recent years, many changes have taken place in the oil industry, resulting in much uncertainty, especially concerning the Middle East.

As a result, oil prices have risen dramatically.

To avoid general increases in prices, Samskip decided to charge customers with BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor). The BAF is recalculated monthly in order to reflect changes in the oil market. Therefore, it will increase or decrease as oil prices fluctuate.

BAF Europe from 1 September 2011

FCL
USD 335 per teu

LCL
USD 41,0 per ton
or USD 20,8 per m3
