Energy surcharges Iceland
In recent years, many changes have taken place in the oil industry, resulting in much uncertainty, especially concerning the Middle East.
As a result, oil prices have risen dramatically.
To avoid general increases in prices, Samskip decided to charge customers with BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor). The BAF is recalculated monthly in order to reflect changes in the oil market. Therefore, it will increase or decrease as oil prices fluctuate.
