Samskip special on multimodal transport to run on Dutch national TV
Samskip is pleased to announce that on Sunday 28th of August, a 6-minute Samskip feature will run on Dutch national TV, SBS6, to explain multimodal transport.
This feature is part of a special on the Port of Rotterdam in the SBS6 programme ‘Hier aan de Kust' which will run the Sunday before the World Harbour Days, taking place between 1-3rd September.
The central theme of the programme is the port as a logistics centre aiming to show the complete transport value chain from port entry to the Hinterland, via all modes of transport.
Samskip's 6-minute feature focuses around our multimodal operations, its benefits in comparison to road transport, and how we ultimately reduce our carbon footprint and create a safer and healthier world for all.
On the 12th of August, we have completed a full day of filming at the Waalhaven office, Rotterdam Shortsea Terminals (RST) and at the Rotterdam Service Centre (RSC) where respectively Jeroen van de Kamp, Peter Willemse and Lisa Westerhuis were interviewed.
Don't miss the episode on Sunday 28th August at 15.30 hours!
(Rerun on Saturday 3rd September and on http://www.hieraandekust.tv/#!kijk-gemist/heyrg).
