Samskip increases sailing frequency on Norwegian West Coast Service
Samskip Multimodal Container Logistics has announced the expansion of its Norway Service, which provides a connection between the Norwegian West Coast and the Port of Rotterdam in Northwest Europe.
With immediate effect Samskip will increase the frequency of its sailings from once a week to two departures a week on the Norwegian West Coast Service – from the Norwegian West Coast to the RST terminal in Rotterdam and vice versa.
New weekly schedules
- From 1 to 2 weekly departures to Stavanger (Tananger) and vice versa
- From 1 to 2 weekly departures to Ålesund and vice versa
- 1 weekly departure to Måløy, new port of call in the rotation, and vice versa
- 1 weekly departure to Haugesund and vice versa
- 1 weekly departure to Bergen and vice versa

With the improved sailing schedule Samskip is able to offer its customers a higher frequency, more capacity for 45ft, 40ft and 20ft equipment and more competitive transit times for calls to and from Stavanger, Ålesund and Måløy.
These improvements are focused around offering a more competitive and sustainable connection to the rest of Europe, with improved connections to the other Samskip routes.
