Samskip at Multimodal 2009
For the second consecutive year, Samskip Multimodal Container Logistics participated at the Multimodal show at the Birmingham NEC from the 28th till the 30th of April 09. The show seems to succeed in its goal to become the UK’;s largest transport event. According to the organizers Multimodal 2009 recorded a 66% increase in visitor numbers.
Simon Dwyer of Samkip Uk commented about the show: “From my perspective the quality of attendees was overall very impressive and an improvement on last year. The show created a professional setting to meet and greet with our current clients and furthermore gave us the opportunity to introduce the Samskip Multimodal container logistics solutions to those not yet familiar with the company. Pleasingly, existing and potential customers also showed an interest in our Dry and Reefer Logistics product.”
Samskip was present with a medium sized stand, displaying Samskip ‘goodies’; and brochures, which were taken away by the visitors. Furthermore a movie was screening on the stand introducing the new Samskip online customer service capabilities ( the service web). We enjoyed participating at the show and we hope all visitors to our stand did as well. We want to thank all crew and visitors for making Multimodal 2009 a success for Samskip.
