New Samskip Logistics agent in Indonesia
Samskip Logistics B.V. has appointed PT Multiguna International Persada (MIP Reefer Logistics) as agent in Indonesia as of 1 May 2008. The appointment is a result of Samskip Reefer Logistics strategic development in Asia with ever growing service network.
M.I.P. Reefer Logistics is headquartered in Jakarta with several branch offices covering Indonesia, a country with 17,500 islands and a coastline of over 87,000 km. The company has extensive experience in transporting frozen, chilled and fresh products. M.I.P. Reefer Logistics will in close co-operation with Samskip Reefer Logistics continuing to develop the Door-to-Door Reefer Logistics as the major reefer commodity exported from Indonesia is seafood.

The co-operation with M.I.P. Reefer Logistics started with Samskip being M.I.P.´s delivery agent in North Europe. Since then, the Samskip Bill of Lading has been introduced and the first shipment to Immingham, UK of frozen fish has already been delivered.
