New Samskip agent in Turkey
As of 1 January 2008, Unimar International Transportation and Foreign Trade Ltd. Turkey, will operate as Samskip agent in Turkey.
Turkish frozen and fresh cargo exports/imports is a fast growing market, where the main commodities are meat, fish, fruits and vegetables.
“We are convinced that Samskip and Unimar can jointly, based on their experience and expertise, offer customers an alternative in Reefer Logistics, and we look forward to developing a long-lasting relationship with Unimar,” says Peder Winther, CEO Samskip Logistics.
Unimar has been servicing customers since 1994. Headquarters are located in Istanbul, and branch offices in Izmir and Ankara. Unimar´s reefer department will be in close co-operation with Samskip Reefer Logistics to mutually develop the End-to-End Cool Chain concept worldwide.
