New Samskip agent in Poland
Samskip has enlarged its agency network with a new partner in Poland, Burger Poland, effective 31 December 2007
Poland has a strong and developing reefer market with both import and export volumes. The main commodities are meat, dairy products and vegetables.
“The much diversified Polish market will further support and strengthen our overall diversification plans of an increase in the fresh/chilled versus frozen cargo ratio. We have found in Burger Poland a team of dedicated professionals, and we look forward to developing a long-lasting relationship with them,” says Peder Winther, CEO Samskip Logistics.
Burger Poland is a member of the Royal Burger Group and is located in Gdynia. The co-operation with Burger Poland started when it handled some shipments for Samskip China. The company´s reefer department will be in close co-operation with Samskip Reefer Logistics to mutually develop the End-to-End Cool Chain concept worldwide.
