Samskip sponsors Reykjavik Arts festival
Samskip has signed a three year contract with Reykjavik Arts festival and has become one of four main sponsors for the festival, arranging transport for the coming exhibitions as an example.
Þórunn Sigurðardóttir, artistic director of the festival and Ásbjörn Gíslason, president of Samskip signed the contract. Ásbjörn said it was an honour to endorse an ambitious festival like Reykjavik Arts festival.
Þórunn mentioned it was very important for the festival to have Samskip as their sponsor, as many delicate and valuable pieces will be shipped to Iceland in coming projects.
Reykjavik Arts festival will be held 12 May to 2 June and this year´s festival will be dedicated to music. Click here for further information on the festival.
