TECO Lines adds Aarhus, Denmark as new port of call
Container short-sea operator TECO LINES, represented by Samskip in Benelux, U.K., Germany, Russia and Norway, are pleased to announce that Aarhus, Denmark will be added as port of call to their existing liner network.
Aarhus will be called on a weekly basis with direct connections from Muuga/Tallinn, Estonia and Helsinki, Finland with transit times of 2 days. From Aarhus there will be possibilities of direct connections to Felixstowe and Antwerp.
Niels Tolstrup, Managing Director for TECO LINES: "We have seen a need in the market for a container connection to Aarhus from Estonia and are pleased to be able to offer this within our present structure. Port of Aarhus is both an important port for a major part of the industrial areas of Denmark, as well as a Danish gateway for overseas lines. Our aim is to serve both markets.
