Franck & Tobiesen takes over as Samskip agent in Lysekil
Samskip AB and Franck & Tobiesen AB have concluded an agreement by which the latter will take over the operation of the Samskip office in the port of Lysekil, southwest Sweden, effective as of June 1st, 2004.
As Franck & Tobiesen is currently the Samskip agent in the Swedish port of Halmstad, the arrangement is designed to ensure a smooth transition of services both for the local market and the company's customers.
Samskip will continue to operate a weekly scheduled service linking Lysekil and Bremen using the liner MV Bremer Roland, with the added possibility of project shipments in the North Sea region.
At the same time, Franck & Tobiesen also takes over from Fermson as Lysekil agent for Nor-Cargo Shipping AS.
