Reorganisation at Samskip GmbH

The beginning of April saw some major personnel changes at Samskip German subsidiary Samskip GmbH, with former conventional services manager Harald Dönselmann taking over as managing director from Samskip president, Rotterdam, Ásbjörn Gíslason.

Hamburg-based Dierk Tonnemacher has been named as Dönselmann's deputy, while Bernd Osmer will serve as managing director of Samskip Logistics within the company.

Founded in 1999, Samskip GmbH employs a workforce of around 40, and serves as an agency for container and conventional shipping lines. The company is active in the fields of conventional and project cargo transport to the Black Sea, Caspian Sea, Baltic States and Russia, container transport on transatlantic routes and routes to Iceland, Scandinavia, the Baltic States and Russia, along with reefer and worldwide logistics.
