Sales Assistant
Based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
You have relevant working experience in door to door multimodal transportation. In this position you are responsible for promoting and selling our services through telesales acquisition by targeting a combination of Samskip's existing customer base and prospective customers. You manage and respond to pricing requests, service and general information inquiries and ensure that all quotations in the system are followed up. You handle customer complaints, issues and queries and ensure that the external sales team is kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts. You prepare and send presentations and service proposals to customers and help the commercial team to manage all customer related initiatives. You assist the commercial team in preparing and managing the flow of market data and pricing analysis, assist with and/or co-ordinate the general administrative work; including data input, travel arrangements, customer events, filing, planning of visits and so on. You help facilitate an effective execution of and follow-up on customer satisfaction surveys and actively engage in sales related IT and business process improvement initiatives. You help monitor adherence to agreed commitments, terms and conditions including freight and credit provisions and perform any ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by the Sales Management Team.

Pricing Analyst
Based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
The Pricing Analyst sets general guidelines for Pricing, makes a breakdown of trade imbalances and, in cooperation with sales, is constantly on the look out for new opportunities to gain business. The Pricing Analyst handles tenders and rate requests for large volumes. The large volumes and tenders have an immediate impact on the planning and imbalances in the route and the Pricing Analyst decides whether the rates need to be altered in such way that the volume contributes to the needs of the route. It is imperative that the impact on the profit and loss accounts of the route is taken into consideration when decisions on pricing are made.
The pricing coordinator communicates regularly with the various sales departments on customers' requirements, opportunities and rate levels in order maximize results via both volume and rates.

Assistant Drivers Desk

In this position you will check and prepare the required paperwork for the ships bag and truck drivers.

Your work schedule will be as follows:
Friday - From 14.00 to 21.00 hours
Saturday - From 07.00 to 12.00 hours
Customer Services Coordinator
Based in Cernusco Sul Naviglio (MI), Italy
You have relevant working experience in door to door multimodal transportation. In this position you are responsible for the delivery of high quality and professional customer service while at the same time ensuring that the highest possible operational efficiency is achieved without jeopardizing customer service. You develop long term relationships with our customers, pro-actively identify potential business from existing customers, encourage them to book more transports with Samskip MCL and take appropriate actions when necessary.
You will take bookings from our customers and process these bookings in our operational system. Identify and suggest improvements in a pro-active way and on a continuously basis. Pro-actively communicate with customers whenever agreed collection and /or delivery times are not met. Find the root cause of service failure and initiate action to solve them and when necessary inform the appropriate business owners. Help the commercial team to manage all customer related initiatives. Check and process reports as required. Share best practices with relevant parties. Perform other duties as assigned by management and function as back up for other members of the team when required.

Graduate Traineeship Programme

You have just received your college or university degree in logistics or business and our Programme is your first career move. You have excellent command of written and spoken English.
The purpose of the Graduate Traineeship Programme is to develop young people with the right skills and behaviour to, in time, fill a number of key roles locally and internationally.
